[Shippensburg, PA, November 21, 2022] — Luminest Community Development is excited to announce the groundbreaking on their new Shippensburg project, Citrus Grove Senior Living. Luminest will be building a three-story building with 40 residential units, on the 2.294 acres site located on Orange Street. The development consists of 36 one-bedroom and 4 twobedroom units. All units are visitable, four fully accessible and one unit is designed for hearing/vision needs. Citrus Grove will be an affordable senior-living community for those 62 and older. Luminest was pleased to be joined in the Friday, November 18th groundbreaking by officials from Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, Quandel Construction, Upstreet Architects, Orrstown Bank, Shippensburg Chamber of Commerce, and multiple local service agencies from the Shippensburg Area Citrus Grove has many amenities for seniors; lobby with coffee nook, Management and Supportive Services offices, Nurse’s Suite for counseling and health screening, Conference Room for small groups to meet, second floor lounge and two-story community room, with large kitchen. The third floor has Card Room/ Library overlooking the Community Room and fitness room.
